I can’t believe we are already a little over a month being this sweet boy’s parents!
I told Zach the other day, that I can’t remember life without him but I am sure it was a lot less chaotic!
This first month has definitely flown by since we were in also in the Christmas season, so I am hoping the next month goes by a lot slower so I can soak up all the baby snuggles!
Right now Davis’ favorite things are eating. sleeping and pooping! ha!
His big brother loves on him constantly and has started calling him “his baby”.
Hopefully this love stays around for a while!
I wanted to also share the things that have made this past month a lot more doable for us as we try and remember what life with a newborn is like! Coffee, wine and a good nights rest is always a go-to as well!
Fisher-Price Rock and Play – We love love love this rock and play! I seriously wished I would have had one of these when Camden was a baby! Not only does this keep them at an angel (great for littles with acid reflux) but it keeps them snug! I love this version of the rock and play because it rocks, vibrates and plays music! Davis also sleeps in this at night!
Boppy Pillow – This is an oldie but a goodie! We have the same Boppy Pillow and cover we used when Camden was a baby. I love the Boppy Pillow for feedings and tummy time! There are so many cute options for covers too!
Skip Hop Diaper Bag – I originally had a different diaper bag picked out that I had been wanting for a couple of years and then right before I registered Skip Hop came out this dreamy diaper bag! I still registered for both of the bags so I could decide in the store which one I liked best. I am so happy I went with this diaper bag! Not only do I get asked daily where it is from (and no one ever believes me that its a diaper bag!) but it holds so much stuff without being super heavy. The front compartment is big enough to hold my phone, wallet, keys and any little things I need quick access to which makes it super convenient! I love that it has the water bottle holder on the side as well!
Newborn to Toddler Bathtub – I know there are a ton of bathtub options out there for babies, we had a completely different bathtub when Camden was born but I love this one! The sling is super easy to put on and it allows for the baby to be somewhat in the water so they are not too cold and it is stable enough that you are not having to juggle them and bath time at once! Davis hated baths at first when he was having to get a sponge bath but he loves getting a bath now that he feels the water!
Chiropractor – I may need an entire blog post to tell you how much we love the chiropractor not only for Zach and I but for our boys! Camden started going to the chiropractor when he was 6 weeks old for acid reflux and it helped us tremendously! I saw Dr. Darcy throughout my pregnancy with Davis and now this past week he had his first appointment with her! We go to The Chiropratic Place for Mommy & Me in Aledo, if you are local check them out!
What are some of the things that got you through the newborn stage?
I would also like to add in grandparents and a babysitter to this list and possible any other list I add here!
Cheers!
The Uncorked Mommy
