Don’t let these smiling faces fool you….
Right before this picture I may have cried (actual tears) and said some four letter words I am not most proud of. This little boy not only has my entire heart but also knows how to push my buttons more than anyone else can.
In this season of motherhood, I would say its the hardest.
I struggle on a daily basis with the feeling of not being the best Mom my three year old needs, all while trying to win the argument/fight/tug-of-war I battle at least 10 times a day with him.
Being a mom is hard, I am very lucky to have the support that I have that let’s me cry and vent anytime I need…my husband may even be learning to tune me out!
I honestly feel like satan uses motherhood struggles as a way to get to us. And I can honestly say probably 9.5 times out of 10 I allow him to win.
Rachel Hollis posted on instagram the other day about feeling inadequate as a mother and reminded herself along with anyone reading “You cannot fail at what God has made you to be.”
So here’s to you Mom…working mom, stay at home mom, boy mom, girl mom and the all out rockstar mom that I heard talking to her son in the sweetest tone in Hobby Lobby this week while he was having a complete meltdown… remember God made you the Momma of these tiny humans, so even when you feel like you are failing you aren’t 🙂
